The Human Aspiring Schnauzer

I know most dogs think they are human, but mine does so much that it is kinda creepy.  I vow to one day get on video her walking around the entire kitchen on her back legs.  She even cleans up after Dalan, which is nice.  Every time he leaves a kitchen cabinet open Tobey follows and shuts it.  It is also possible she is actually trying to look in the cabinet and happens to put her weight on it, but we'll give her the benefit of the doubt.
This weekend we were over at the Morrill's and so far Tobey is not impressed with the boyfriend we have picked out.  Lemmy doesn't take it too hard though, he knows his PIMP-ness will win out in the end.  While trying to keep Tobey entertained so she would stop attacking Lemmy, Dalan hooked a G.I. Joe kite to her collar.  Tobey sat there so chill for the first time of the night, and just radiated Chuck Norris.

Thats right, my dog can fly a kite.  It is so much cooler than your dog

.... and then, I stood him up.

By "him" I mean Bob, Bob Harper.  I had all kinds of plan that I was going to work out every single day.  But last night I had to work late, and then LOST was on, so duh, couldn't make my date with Bob then.  And now tonight with so much exciting stuff going on with Adorre
I could either workout, or create this flier on our latest promotion.

I have no regrets :) sorry Bob.  If you know anyone that would like to get some pictures of their kiddies in Easter outfits please pass this on!

and it servers her right.

My parents just emailed this picture to me and I thought it was way to funny to pass up. They have a Pekingese mix who can be an absolute brat. She steals the toys from the other dogs and hides them. The main objects of her contention are plain raw-hide chew sticks. Every time my mom gets them out every dog gets one, but somehow Tazzie ends up with them all, and next thing you know, they are gone. My parents recently got some new furniture, and when we were moving out the old couches we found 11 of these chew sticks underneath the couches, No one can figure out how she managed to squeeze them under there, and we had a good laugh over it. Now in Tazzie's room of choice their are 2 sitting chairs somewhat close together. She will steal all of the chew sticks and throw them behind the chairs, there is some poetic justice to the new setup. When Tazzie decides to cash in on her bounty and get the chew sticks out she jumps behind the chairs, and gets stuck. My parents have found her on multiple occasions with her head stuck between the 2 chairs. Haha!

Hopeless

You know those books that even though you've read them at least 15 times, and can quote it's entirety from page to page, but still enjoy reading over and over again? I love those books. Not wanting to go to the library because of an overdue charge (gasp) I reorganized my small library at home and found some of my dear old friends that I couldn't wait to get acquainted with again. Here is a list of my absolute favorites.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
The Chronicles of Narnia
A Train to Potevka
Anne of Green Gables
The Golden Compass
A Wrinkle in Time
Many Waters
The Last Silk Dress
Four Perfect Pebbles
Heidi
Brighty of the Grand Canyon

I absolutely recommend any of these books whole-heartedly! Each of mine are now so worn they are falling apart, I actually have backups of a few of them for the day that they finally disintegrate. My husband thinks I'm absolutely hopeless and senile, but I beg to differ, I hope a few of you feel the same way about your favorites :)
