Fun Photo Shoot

Meg and I took some pictures of absolutely adorable baby Kate today.  She was so well behaved that even Meg admitted having her as offspring could be enjoyable.  Here are a couple pictures from todays shoot.

Let me also take this time to let everyone know we are going to be doing a couple of free photo shoots.  I wanted to let friends and family know first before I inform my photography blog readers.  So if you interested contact me soon!  For kids we are going to be doing pictures like baby  Kate's and if anyone older is interested in some new portraits we are needing individual models for an outdoor shoot here in a couple weeks.

Pantene Model

I'm trying to get Tobey a modeling deal with Pantene Pro-V.  She has the shake down.

I can however foresee 2 possible problems, one being her nasty coarse schnauzer hair, and two she can be a little surly in front of the camera.

Basically it's like she's not even gone

So Hannah left for England last week, but I'm having a hard time missing her since she watches me work everyday.  I would think there are a lot more fun adventures awaiting in England, but she lovingly chooses to spend her time with me.  I get to see Hannah away from work too, well not quite, but her namesake did come with us to IKEA last weekend.  And look how much fun we had!

On a different note I have decided to join Meg in participating in project 365, in which we will take a picture every day for a year.  Hopefully this will help make me a better photographer, and give me more to blog about :).  

Oh ps. Meg and I are trying to start a sort of photography forum, and if anyone can think of a cool name to go with the acronym P.I.M.P. I would be much obliged.

Ode to Rocket Dogs

In honor of missing Hannah, I decided to try out an ode.

Too Cute

Sometimes my dog is way to cute, which is extremely frustrating, especially when she decided to make my rocket dogs her newest chew toy.

Exhibit A
This is just all-together cute, how can you yell @ this face, especially when she tilts her head and gives you Bambi eyes.

Her extremely cute white goatee, and her nubbin. This nubbin will wag at supersonic speeds which I swear will send her skyward one day.

My favorite, her white toes, I want to kiss them they are so darn cute!


In conclusion dog, stay the heck away from my shoes, or I may finally mush you like I've always wanted to do in response to your cuteness.

Festival of Trees

We went to the Festival of Trees last night. Our main purpose behind going was to see the tree donated on behalf of Dalan's grandpa who passed away just over a year ago. While riding his bike he was struck by a car running a red light. The tree was decorated with a bike theme and had some really creative ideas. We are very thankful for everyone who donated time and materials to make this a reality. The proceeds from all of the sales at the Festival of Trees go to Primary Children's, so a very worthy cause.
